The generosity of
local businesses
like The Pool Place
in Placerville have
been wonderful.

We also want to thank
Dawn Michelle's Salon
in Granite Bay for their
generosity. Dawn
sponsored a cut-a-thon
that raised $1,700 for
the Foundation.

Jeff Anhorn Nursery of Sunol,
donated 10 trees that Sam's
classmates planted on Sam's
Hill on October 4, 2003.

(Sam would have been 10 on
October 8th).

Lastly, local Oak Ridge economics teacher Karl Grubaugh's 3rd period econ class donated $135 to The Sam Harry Foundation. The money was a portion of the profits earned in the "Start a Business Project." Mr. Grubaugh's students learn "about the wonders of the free-market system" and "two simple but tremendously important lessons about our market economy -- it's possible to both do well (make money for yourself) and do good things for others at the same time.

And finally, generosity is not reserved for adults and teenagers. Kids help kids too! Click here to learn how some kids have become involved.
